Pakistan Theatre Festival 2023, presented by Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi will showcase the play Saazish ki Wajah Se Khel Multavi by Yasmin Ismail.
Saazish ki Wajah Se Khel Multavi - Kid's Special
Saazish ki Wajah Se Khel Multavi is an original play that follows four spirited children hailing from diverse Pakistani provinces, united by their shared passion for cricket. As fate has it, they find themselves residing in the same apartment. However, a looming threat emerges when their landlord, exasperated by their presence, aims to sell the very place they call home. As the children unravel a web of deception, their camaraderie, and determination come to the forefront. Can these young champions outsmart the sinister plan, using their unity and resilience to triumph over adversity?

About Group:
Over the years, Grips Theatre has performed more than 50 stage plays written by the late Imran Aslam. These plays serve as satirical commentaries on contemporary events in Pakistan. What makes these plays stand out is their ability to pinpoint current issues directly. The political satires are both innovative and critical of the shortcomings within society, the establishment, and those in positions of power, all presented in a humorous manner. While these plays induce laughter by highlighting our own follies, Grips never loses sight of the fact that Pakistan is our country. As a nation, we owe it much more than we have thus far contributed.
